The Polish government is struggling to implement a promise by ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski on cutting bonuses for management board members of listed state-controlled companies. Bank PKO BP and coal miner JSW had to adjourn their AGM's as the PM chancellery is trying to find a way to bend managerial contracts to the political will of the ruling party.
