Michal Krupinski
Bank Pekao may see its CEO Michal Krupinski leave, possibly to take a position in copper group KGHM, Puls Biznesu reports, citing hearsay from "several independent trustworthy sources," but admitting the rumors have been denied by Pekao press office and Krupinski himself. Daily's sources suggest Krupinski is reading to move either to London or to the US and Canada, where he could work at KGHM International. Another person tied to the government suggests Krupinski could be heading for an international financial institution.
Krupinski's departure could be caused by government's plans to cut management remuneration at Pekao and possible departure of Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, Krupinski's top political ally, to the European Parliament following next year's elections.
