Listed HR company Work Service stands a fair chance of selling unit Exact Systems via manager buyout for over PLN 200 million within the coming weeks, CEO Maciej Witucki believes.
The company is trying to remedy its high short-term debt by selling its most profitable assets, a move that might put its future performance under a question mark, DM BZ WBK analyst Tomasz Sokolowski says as cited by the daily Parkiet.
Work Service is facing toughening competition on the HR services market, and its current troubles are the result of unsustainable growth and high overhead, an anonymous sector manager comments. Work Service's consolidated end-2018 EBIT will be comparable to that of 2017, Witucki insists.
