The Polish power industry expects a final agreement on the EU electricity market ordinance by end-2018, followed by the document's entry into force in Q1 2019, power utility PGE CEO and head of the Polish electricity producers' lobby Henryk Baranowski tells daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. Polish electricity producers care primarily about the regulations on CO2 emission limits for contracts to be signed after the ordinance takes effect, as well as on ensuring the full performance of contracts to be concluded at the first three capacity market auctions planned for this year, he adds commenting on the ongoing negotiations.
