• The greatest passion of actor Marian Opania (pictured above) is sculpting. He has been pursuing the art in his spare time for almost 25 years. He almost exclusively sculpts religious figures, saying that it is a kind of private conversation with God.


• First Lady Jolanta Kwa¶niewska recently posed for Douglas Kirkland, one of the world's most famous photographers; he has worked with the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. At the beginning of the session, the president's wife confessed that she was nervous. However, Kirkland quickly allayed the tension, leading to many unusual takes of the Polish First Lady.


• Singer Ryszard Rynkowski recently recorded a new album in Rochdale in England with a group of musicians who normally work for Tina Turner and Joe Cocker; Rynkowski once performed with Cocker in Warsaw. The studio was in the house of famous British vocalist Lisa Stanfield.


• Presenter Anna Popek said she is trying to figure out men. She says they are usually attracted to women who pay them compliments. Second, she says, men tend to be attracted to those women who are attractive to themselves.
