Listed home appliance maker Amica expects group revenues to grow to PLN 2.9-3.0 billion in 2018 from last year's PLN 2.65 billion after reaching PLN 1.32 billion in H1 as the positive sales trends continue in Q3, deputy CEO Wojciech Kocikowski told reporters.
The company will probably launch a new buyback scheme "in the nearest future" despite the fiasco of the previous attempt in August, the manager added.
Amica should complete talks on acquiring the rights to Fagor brand by end-year. The company has 1-2 rivals in the negotiations, Kocikowski said. The takeover would boost Amica's annual revenues by over EUR 50 million in 5 years' time, according to the manager.
