Poland's cabinet approved a special package of regulations for small and midsize companies, including lowering CIT rate for businesses with annual revenues capped at EUR 2 million, the Ministry of Business and Technology said in a press release following the cabinet sitting.
The draft bill expands the group of companies able to pay the currently reduced 15% CIT rate by hiking the annual revenue threshold to EUR 2 million from EUR 1.2 million, the release said. That CIT rate will be cut further to 9% as of January 1, 2019.
The amount of red tape for SMEs will also be reduced as they now will be able to make tax advance payments on a quarterly basis instead of a monthly one, the ministry said.
