Marek Falenta
Since 2015, Poland has seen appearance of seven illegally taped conversation that were unknown to prosecutors and secret services, Rzeczpospolita noted.
It's unclear how many tapes are still on the market, one of investigators comments. A number of those tapes were published by pro- (ruling party Law and Justice) PiS media, often to cover PiS's own problems, Gazeta Wyborcza noted.
The tapes may keep leaking for years, and anybody who dined at Sowa & Przyjaciele restaurant (where recordings were made) might be afraid, an investigator noted.
Former businessman and organizer of the tape scandal Marek Falenta keeps the recording of a conversation that would prove troublesome for PM Mateusz Morawiecki, Gazeta Wyborcza claimed, citing a person close to Falenta.
The ex-businessman treats the tape as an insurance policy, the person said.
