A Lot in Common

After hearing of your President talk about the misinformation and maybe he should bring the military home, I just don't understand.

You are free today from the Communist Russia that President Reagan and President Bush Sr. allowed the countries of Eastern Europe, but somehow we are no good today. How show short our memories are. Don't worry, they are short here too. Most people have forgotten about 9/11 and what this is all about.

If President Bush was misled, then look at the positive side. Saddam Hussien was giving money for all the terrorists through his food for oil program. Forget about the thousands of the Iraqis who lost their lives to this (Hitler fanatic). I remember in the 70s how your people were slaughtered because you stood up and rebelled and against Communism.

Have you also forgotten the very large Polish communities living here in the United States, are now U. S. citizens and serving in the wars to protect the people of Iraq, No. Korea, Serbia and the list goes on. Do you not think there were Polish boys serving in our service that have volunteered to fight the terrorists, and other military exercise they are called upon to do. Remember, we have an all volunteer military and these men and women are polish by decent.

Isn't it amazing we can live here in the United States with hundreds of different ethnic backgrounds, but put them in their own country and they want to kill each other.

As an ex Navy Veteran, Vietnam Veteran, I stand 100% behind my president and I also want to thank you for standing with the American people also. This is not a President Bush thing, this is a world against terrorism and a few countries that sponsor it.

Again, thank you on behalf of the American people and those who are of polish decent living here in the United States.
