• Sejm Speaker Marek Borowski (pictured left) revealed he has problems with Jan Rokita (pictured right), Civic Platform leader. When Borowski's two-year-old grand-son sees Rokita on television, he yells "Grandpa!" delightfully. So far the two gentlemen have not realized they look alike.


• Boxer Andrzej Gołota is the second most popular Pole internationally after Pope John Paul. In American rankings he even rates above Lech Wałęsa. Gołota lives a normal life with his wife and two children in Chicago. He emphasizes his Polish nationality; he has attached a "PL" decal on his Mercedes. In Poland he has invested a lot in restaurants and gyms, but he avoids publicizing this fact.


• Television journalist Monika Richardson, the wife of British pilot, Jamie, shares her time between two homes: in Poland and in England. In England she plays a housewife with pleasure and at home she plays host to a popular talk-show. In autumn she will become a mother for the second time. She admits that they dream about a daughter this time.
