• Jan Kulczyk (see photo), the richest man in Poland, will soon become grandfather. His daughter Dominika, who is expecting, has categorically refused to be photographed. She has been married to Jan Lubomirski for three years.

• Well-known detective turned Sejm deputy Krzysztof Rutkowski has bought a car-a custom-ordered BMW convertible worth $130,000. The car is constantly monitored, though Rutkowski does not think anyone will be brave enough to try and steal it.

• Boxing champion Iwona Guzowska is ending her career. Her husband has bought her a stallion. She has decided to take up horse riding and obtain a license soon. However, Guzowska has not managed to break the horse yet. She says no one in the boxing ring has given her such a hard time. Once the horse even reared and kicked her in the face.

• Singer Andrzej Piaseczny wants to take up politics. It is uncertain whether he will gain support because his election platform is quite controversial. He would like to make euthanasia and marihuana-smoking legal. The singer is aware of the difficulties he will have to face. He says they are the result of his willingness to help people.
