REPLY TO MR. KING

In referance to Mr. Kings statement " Poles should quit whining" about Poles asking for a British apology. He states that Poles would be speaking German if it wasn't for Great Britain. Oh please sir, lets not play that little game. If it wasn't for America maybe the Brits would be speaking German with a British accent.

Britain did not suffer any where near the losses the Poles have suffered. If London has suffered 200,000 deaths in a 63 day battle during World War 2 we wouldn't hear the end of it. Especially if the Allies did pathatically little to prevent it.

But hey, maybe to make the Brits happy, maybe the Poles could send a Christmas tree to London every year like Norway does (what in the world did Norway do during World War 2) and all will be forgiven.

As an American, I wish all Americans would realize that the 911 tragedy they suffered is 63 time less than the Poles suffered during the Warsaw Uprising. By the way, this was first brought up by Norman Davies, a British historian on Polish history. As an American i realize Poland got screwed over by the Allies in World War 2. I just wish the Poles would forgive us for the Yalta disaster. Maybe the Brits too.
