Aiming High
Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy SA (EFL) is Poland's largest bank-owned leasing company and a member of the Credit Agricole (CA) group, which is the world's second largest financial institution in terms of equity.
For years, we have been the leaders in Poland's leasing sector. We finance a wide variety of fixed assets from means of road transportation, machinery and other appliances to office equipment and IT to real estate. We owe our strong position to the most powerful brand on the market, modern products, professional managerial staff and membership in the CA group, the warranty of our financial base.
At EFL, we regard innovation as the chief guideline. We always make sure we meet the needs of our clients and adapt our services to their ever growing demands. By way of addressing the needs, we introduced a new product to the Polish market-Renewable Leasing, whose concept relies on using a car and not owning it. The market quickly embraced the new product and our clients awarded Renewable Leasing the title of the Most Innovative Product of 2004.
In order to satisfy the constantly growing demands of the market, this year EFL has entered new sectors of the leasing market. Our services are already available on the market for real estate leasing. Taking from CA's experience in France, we are also increasing sales of farm machinery leasing.
We plan to reorganize EFL and prepare to invite clients from new sectors of the market. Until now we focused on clients from the microenterprise sector. Our objective is to reach corporate clients and large transactions. We are also interested in the budgetary sector, governmental administration in particular. We hold appropriate tools in the form of new financial lines from, among others, EBRD and BRRE, and the possibility to use structural funds through leasing.
We also want to explore the advantages of other companies of the CA Polska group. Together with Lukas Bank, we will develop sales of Biznes accounts for SMEs and the Lukas Dobra Rata car leasing program. As part of the CA group, we want to build joint distribution channels for other banking products.
The goal of EFL in 2005 is to maintain its position as the unquestionable leader on the leasing market. We want to achieve it by consolidating our traditional domination on the car market using new quality in financing cars in the dealership channel. We will also extend the variety of assets financed for a more diversified group of clients.
Our position on the market is confirmed by numerous awards and special mentions in prestigious rankings. Last year, Gazeta Prawna chose EFL the Best Leasing Company in Poland. For the sixth time in a row, last year we received the Prosperita Award for the largest leasing company operating on the Polish market. Moreover, Moody's Investors Service agency updated EFL's rating and as a result of the agency's examination, our investment rating remained at the A2 (national) level. This is the highest rating a Polish company can get.
