Pawlak: Polish Government to Discuss Tax Rises on Friday

The government will discuss the issue of potential tax hikes next year and accept the multi-year financial plan on Friday sitting of the Council of Ministers, deputy PM and Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak told public radio Trojka.
The cabinet “needs decisions” to keep public debt from exceeding legal limits in 2011 and may just boost revenue by increasing value-added tax rates.
