Poles deeper in debt – KRD register
Polish households' overdue liabilities total PLN 32.5 billion, up from PLN 12.5 billion two years earlier, while the number of Poles who fail to make payments on time grew by nearly 0.5 million in the period, the daily Gazeta Wyborcza writes, citing data by debt register KRD.

Some 80,000 Poles have at last 10 loans and they are unable to pay them off, according to KRD estimates.

Moreover, the value of some 250,000 homes, for which Poles took out mortgage loans, fell below the value of those loans due to the appreciation of the Swiss franc, Open Finance calculations show.
