Rosatom interested in tender for Poland's nuclear power plant
Russian-owned nuclear energy corporation Rosatom will likely participate in the tender for the construction of a Polish nuclear power plant to be announced by power group PGE still in December, the daily Rzeczpospolita writes.

Once the tender is announced, Rosatom will appoint an expert group to draft a tender offer, engineering project director at Rosatom Sergei Boyarkin told the daily, adding that he is "absolutely convinced" that the firm will participate in the tender.

Rosatom could build a nuclear plant for USD 2.7 billion for 1000 Megawatts, so the cost of the Polish plant would amount to USD 8 billion, Boyarkin said.
