Poland liberalizes citizenship laws
Under a new citizenship act, which came in force on Wednesday, persons applying for Polish citizenship will not have to resign their to-date nationality.

Citizenship-eligible will be well-integrated foreigners residing in Poland for at least three years, with good Polish language skills and secure residence and subsistence.

Also eligible will be refugees, stateless persons, children and spouses of Poles and persons of Polish descent.
