Public fundraising bill to be discussed on Jan. 2
PM Donald Tusk and deputy PM Janusz Piechocinski
The Polish government will discuss draft guidelines to a public fundraising bill on January 2, the PAP Polish news agency reported on Thursday.

Non-governmental organizations praise the guidelines prepared by the Administration Ministry but appeal to the government not to include Finance Ministry-authored amendments.

"This is a compromise but it is satisfying us," PAP was told by a president of one of charity foundations operating in Poland.

Work on a new public fundraising bill started in June. Its authors want to liberalize the current regulations.
