Polish, Turkish foreign ministers praise bilateral ties

Polish-Turkish relations are getting closer, Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu told a meeting of Polish diplomats in Warsaw on Tuesday.

Addressing the meeting Minister Sikorski said that 90 years ago Poland and Turkey had signed a treaty on friendship and next year would mark the 600th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Sikorski also said that negotiations with Turkey were in EU's interest.
