Dancing Down the Stony Road
After a two-year break, the guitar virtuosity of the smoky-voiced Chris Rea will return to Warsaw playing Kongresowa Hall on Nov. 12.

Chris Rea has traveled a long and relatively hard road during his career and bears the burden well, considering. Having only picked up the guitar at the not-so-tender age of 19 he has since established himself as one of the leading axemen in the world of music. Trailing along with him a string of modest hits along the way such as “Fool (if you think it's over)", “Let's Dance" and “The Road to Hell" this wandering Geordie troubadour has certainly left his mark. After a bout of severe pancreatic ails (requiring extensive surgery) a little over two years ago, he recently released a new album The Stony Road, which is a detour from his more radio-friendly sound towards some heartfelt blues.

The reviews for the new album have hailed it as one of Rea's best and most mature works to date. So if you are ready to hear some moving blues playing from a true master, catch a ride to the Palace of Culture on the 12th any way you can.

Tickets range from zl.120-180 at the Kongresowa Hall box-office.
