Poles Do Queen
A Polish show featuring symphonic renditions of songs by British rock legends Queen will go on a 20-date tour this autumn, winter and spring.

Queen Symfonicznie (Symphonic Queen) is a show performed by musicians from the Alla Vienna philharmonic, a 20-strong choir called Vivid Singers and a singer who impersonates Queen’s charismatic frontman Freddie Mercury. Audiences across Poland will hear famous hits such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You” and “Who Wants to Live Forever.”

Queen Symfonicznie is a Polish project. Originally planned as a one-off event, the show evolved into an extensive tour spanning dates at Poland’s largest venues. This act has now been around for three years and to date has played almost 50 concerts to packed houses.

This year, the musicians will unveil a new show featuring such Queen songs as “Bicycle Race” and “Another One Bites the Dust,” in addition to “Barcelona,” a track that Mercury recorded with Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballe. Queen Symfonicznie have several other surprises in store and in the second half of their shows, they will be joined on stage by solo guitarist Piotr Wieczorek.
