Poles Snap Up Organic Food

According to official statistics, more and more Poles are reaching for organic food. This sector is expected to grow around 20-25 percent annually in Poland in the coming years. Polish consumers are becoming more aware of the fact that organic food is not only tasty, but also healthier due to a lack of pesticides, artificial preservatives, hormones and GMO. A growing market also means increasing demand for both organic shops and organic restaurants and eateries.

An example of this is Organic Coffee & more, a new and growing chain of organic cafes that offers only food and drink from certified organic ingredients. The first cafe opened just over a year ago in Warsaw and the chain is now expanding in the capital and also in other cities, while the concept behind it has already received numerous industry and consumer awards.
