Polish food exports seen growing this year
Poland's farming and food products exports are likely to increase by some 2-7% in 2014 despite ongoing embargoes to a number of countries, Bank BGZ economist Michal Kolesnikow said.

The growth is likely to be even higher provided good harvest of grains, rapeseed, fruits and vegetables and on condition that the zloty does not strengthen significantly and global food prices will hold at relatively high levels, Kolesnikow added.

Poland's increased its food exports by 6% year on year in Q1 mainly thanks to sales to the EU states.
