ECHOES – 100 Years in Finnish Design and Architecture Exhibition
To celebrate 100 years of Finnish independence, an exhibition of 100 years of Finnish Architecture and Design will be shown at the Polin Museum of Polish Jews in Warsaw from 12 January to 23 February 2017.

The Polin Museum itself was designed by Finnish architect Professor Rainer Mahlamäki.

The exhibition will circulate later in 2017, in Bratislava from 2 to 28 March, Prague from 19 to 30 October and Berlin from 9 November to 28 January 2018.

The ECHOES exhibition has received funding from the Finland100 foundation at the Finnish Prime Minister’s Office, and is being produced in partnership with Finnish companies YIT and ISKU.

Other partners of the Warsaw exhibition are TIKKURILLA, KONE and STORA ENSO.

Rainer Mahlamäki is a Professor of Contemporary Architecture at the University of Oulu in Finland. Apart from the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, his most significant works include the Finnish Forest Information Centre and Forest Museum in Lusto, the Folk Art Centre in Kaustinen and the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia in Espoo.
