Six banks get regulatory consent for creating mobile payment system
Polish banks grouped around PKO BP received the consent to create Polski Standard Platnosci (PSP), a joint system of mobile payments built on PKO BP's IKO system, anti-monopoly office UOKiK said in a statement.

PKO BP is co-operating with five other WSE banks: Alior, Millennium, BZ WBK, mBank as well as ING BSK, as well as with KIR settlement house.

The banks may launch their mobile payments system in Q4 and reach 1 million clients by end-year, PSP CEO Adam Malicki told PAP Polish news agency back in April.
