Orange Polska secures frequency reservations in 900 MHz band
Telco Orange Polska secured extension of reservation of two frequencies from the 900 MHz band for another 15 years for PLN 358.1 million, the operator said in a market filing.

Orange "is the first mobile operator which, according to the amended telecommunications law, had to pay for the reservation for a subsequent period," the filing reads. "The payment amount has been set at PLN 358.1 million and will be paid within 14 days."

Orange extended reservations of frequency ranges 908.1-914.9 MHz and 953.1-959.9 MHz until July 6, 2029, the filing read.

Orange Polska uses the 900 MHz band to provide 2G and 3G services.
