Enea could receive PLN 1bn credit from EIB
   
European Investment Bank mulls granting power group Enea some PLN 1 billion credit to finance investment in the distribution segment, the EIB said on its website.

The total cost of the investment is estimated at around PLN 2 billion, the bank said.

Enea spokesperson Slawomir Krenczyk told PAP Polish news agency firm was in talks about potential financing from EIB.

"We are analyzing the possibility of obtaining further financing in the area of distribution," Krenczyk said. "Talks are under way."

Back in October 2012 Enea and EIB signed a 15-year credit deal for PLN 950 million, to finance modernization of power grid in north-west Poland.
