Public healthcare centers’ liabilities on the rise
Poland's independent public healthcare centers (SPZOZ) ran up PLN 10.03 billion in liabilities at end-Q2 2014, up by 1% quarter on quarter, data published by the Health Ministry showed.

The value of overdue liabilities increased by 6% to PLN 2.1 billion.

The data are drawn from questionnaires of regional government offices, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense, medical universities as well as independent public healthcare centres supervised by the Health Ministry.

SPZOZ are a part of the public finance sector.
