President-elect Duda Poland’s most trusted politician - survey

Poland's President-elect Andrzej Duda leads the June politician trust polls with 57% of respondents declaring trust towards the future Head of State, and is followed by his rival in May elections Pawel Kukiz and incumbent President Bronislaw Komorowski, a survey by pollster CBOS showed.

Duda is distrusted by 18% of respondents, the survey showed.

Komorowski and Kukiz are both trusted by 52% of respondents, but as much as 30% of respondents express distrust to the outgoing president, versus 17% for Kukiz.

Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz is still net positive, with 41% of respondents expressing trust and 36% distrust towards the politician.

Beata Szydlo, opposition party Law and Justice (PiS) deputy leader and candidate for PM ahead of the fall election, made her debut in the survey with a score of 30% trust/14% distrust.

PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski remains the politician with the biggest negative electorate, with 46% of respondents expressing distrust to the politician.
