Slawkow ready to operate

Poland's trans-shipment terminal Slawkow operated by Centrala Zaopatrzenia Hutnictwa (CZH) is approaching full capacity at 220,000 containers a year, the daily Puls Biznesu writes citing CZH CEO Adam Gorszanow.
The terminal is located at the end of Poland's broad-gauge railway stretch near Katowice. Slawkow is benefitting from higher orders from war-torn Ukraine, developing its intermodal segment thanks to increased transports by water, and hoping to attract cargo moving down the New Silk Route, as the route via Belarus is suffering from bottlenecks.
