Brexit may hit Poland

Danuta Huebner
Poland could seriously suffer if brexit negotiations between the UK and the EU fail, resulting in the reintroduction of WTO terms of trade, Polish MEP Danuta Huebner said during the European Forum of New Ideas, as quoted by the daily Parkiet.
The most probable scenario at the moment is an orderly divorce, involving a transitory period with the current rules maintained, according to Agata Gostynska-Jakubowska of the London-based Centre for European Reform (CER) think-tank.
A transitory period is indispensable and must last at least two or three years, Paul Drechsler of the Confederation of British Industry said.
