Culture Zone Wroclaw
   
Culture Zone Wroclaw is created on the basis of the experiences of the European Capital of Culture Wroc³aw 2016 and the Impart 2016 Festival Office. CZW forms a network of eight spots in Wroclaw that include programs with local, nationwide and international character which is valued at home and abroad.
"From the very beginning, we knew that the institution responsible for organizing the European Capital of Culture will remain open to the inhabitants of Wroclaw after 2016 and we'll continue the most important projects initiated in the year of celebrations" says the President of Wroclaw, Rafal Dutkiewicz. Evaluation report prepared by the European Commission appraised this decision highly.
"The shape of our institution is the sum of dozens of years of experience in building a Wroclaw's culture" explains Krzysztof Maj, general director of the CZW. "The continuation of our activities will provide residents with further opportunities to benefit from the heritage of the European Capital of Culture".
Events held as a part of the Culture Zone Wroclaw will take place locally. They will be organized within the framework of CZW but with a international cooperation and will create friendly places for the city's residents. and numerous festivals in a unique installment.
Events will include local and international cooperation programs. There will be places full of culture created for the residents of the city and there will be organized numerous festivals in unique forms.
