Poland to fight air pollution

Poland has ample resources to fight its air pollution problem, including PLN 15.5 billion in the national fund for environment protection and maritime economy, minister of business and technology Jadwiga Emilewicz told the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. Poland will earmark PLN 180 million for modernizing power and heating infrastructure in 23 cities and towns facing the biggest problems with air pollution under a specially designed pilot program, she said.
