Draft bill on renewables
Poland's draft bill on renewables, freshly approved by the government, could find its way to the parliamentary committee as soon as next week, sources tell the daily Parkiet. The bill sticks to the Energy Ministry's planned ordering of ca. 1,000 MW of power from land windfarms at this year's auction, government insiders confirm. Local communities owning windmills will have to correct their budgets as they had previously accounted for higher taxation, head of a windfarm communities lobby Leszek Kulinski says of the bill's drawbacks.
