Money for healthcare
The Polish government sees the cost of the planned increased spending on its healthcare system at PLN 25.7 billion in 10 years, with the 2018 cost at PLN 2.0 billion, the health ministry said in an impact study to the draft bill on healthcare financing, prepared further to the government's agreement with resident doctors.
The draft bill seeks, among other things, to increase healthcare financing to 6% of GDP in 2024.
