Opposition daily on government leader

Jaroslaw Kaczynski
Governing party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, home after over a month in the hospital, is inundated with visits from party insiders with an axe to grind about the several lines of infighting within the government, the opposition daily Gazeta Wyborcza claims.
Kaczynski has already toned down his planned return to work and is operating from home and has backed out of his first major engagement later this week with government ministers.
Infighting is focused either between Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and former PM Beata Szydlo together with Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, chiefly over appointments to state firms, or between Morawiecki and the 'old guard' at the center of the governing party initially tied to Kaczynski's first party PC, most notably Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski or Farm Minister Krzysztof Jurgiel.
The untouchability of the old guard is now falling into question Gazeta Wyborcza claims.
