New rules for VAT declarations
Teresa Czerwinska
The Polish government will likely stop collecting VAT declarations from businesses in 2019, as all the necessary information is gathered through the standard audit file, Finance Minister Teresa Czerwinska said in parallel interviews.
Te government also wants to simplify VAT rate rules based on the EU's CN system and introduce binding VAT rate interpretations, she added. Simplification of rates will likely be done downwards, as as Poland expects no fiscal effect from the move, Czerwinska said.
A simpler rate system should be implemented in 2019.
