Consumer protection ombudsman on insurances
   
Insurers offering policies with minimal insurance benefits to cover underlying investment assets would likely have to allow clients to withdraw all their invested sums free of fees, under a proposal being pressed on the Supreme Court by Poland's consumer protection ombudsman.
The consumer office is filing an opinion in a related case, claiming that such contracts are not true insurance policies, thus are abusive of clients.
