Tamar vs. JSW
Daniel Ozon
Polish coal miner JSW is obstructing British rival Tamar Resources' efforts to access the Krupinski colliery, the daily Parkiet writes of the contents of Tamar's letter to PM Mateusz Morawiecki.
JSW might have used informal channels to apply for a concession for probing the adjacent Warszowice-Suszec coking coal deposit, Tamar says, an allegation dismissed by JSW spokesperson Katarzyna Jablonska-Bajer.
JSW's CEO Daniel Ozon also tried to initiate negotiations with Tamar in an "informal and somewhat unconventional" manner, Tamar says, while stating that it will not talk to Polish coal miner until it strikes an agreement with the country's ministry of energy concerning the planned purchase of the Krupinski mine.
Tamar wants to meet with PM Morawiecki to secure his support for its plans.
