New regulations for foreigners
   
The Polish government wants to allow economic migrants from select countries to apply for permanent residence after having worked for 2.5 years in Poland based on work and temporary residence permits, daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna writes of a new draft amendment to the act on foreigners.
Economic migrants would also be able to bring in their families whose members would also have the possibility to start working in Poland.
The offer would be targeted at Armenian, Belarussian, Georgian, Moldovan, Russian and Ukrainian nationals representing professions sought by Polish employers.
