Polish pork dominates US market

Poland exported PLN 275.2 million worth of pork to the US in the first four months of 2018, more than twice the exports to the second biggest recipient, Italy, the daily Rzeczpospolita wrote.
Poland is benefitting from very high margins on pork it sells to America, with the average 2017 export price at EUR 3.03 per kilogram vs EUR 2.0 per kilogram of pork sold to the European countries, agriculture sector analyst at BOS Bank Michal Kolesnikow observes.
