Cassation procedure to be changed

The Polish government eyes introducing changes to its legislation on administrative procedure that would limit the number of cassations on tax interpretations sent to supreme administrative court NSA, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported, citing proposals by the Finance ministry.
At the moment, every tax payer may file for a cassation, resulting in 1,000 such cases annually. According to the proposal, cassations would be allowed only if tax legislation causes substantial doubts or significant differences appear in court rulings on the issue.
