MPC member on interest rates and GDP
Grazyna Ancyparowicz
Poland's interest rates will likely remain stable to the end of the most recent projection horizon, that is to end-2020, as potential inflation drivers are mostly foreign, beyond council's influence, Monetary Policy Council member Grazyna Ancyparowicz told daily Parkiet.
Poland's GDP growth will likely decelerate slightly, but should hold over 4% on average to 2020, as the most recent NBP projection, which points to deceleration towards 3%, seems "excessively cautious," Ancyparowicz added.
