Helping hand for taxpayers
The Polish government seeks to establish a taxpayer ombudsman service with a PLN 20 million annual budget, 16 regional deputies and some dozen mobile representatives, the daily Puls Biznesu found out.
The proposed ombudsman will be able to contact Finance Minister on a taxpayer's behalf to ask for interpretation of a given tax issue, or even appeal for change or cancellation of a tax authority decision, among other things.
