Agriculture minister on subsidies

Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski
The Polish government expects to increase the level of advance direct subsidy payments as of mid-October to help the country's farmers maintain liquidity amid losses caused by the drought, agriculture minister Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski told public broadcaster TVP.
The advance payments will amount to 70% of the first pillar and 85% of the second pillar of the EU Common Agricultural Policy, Ardanowski specified.
