IT giant fighting for contract

Listed IT company Comarch has already run two testing sessions to determine its readiness to take over maintenance of the IT systems of social security board ZUS, having completed five of the seven task units at the first try on August 9, Comarch spokesperson Marek Wisniewski and ZUS sources said.
The company is in for further competence tests, and is expected to report its readiness to take over the system's successive services at monthly intervals, ZUS spokesperson Wojciech Andrusiewicz explained.
Comarch views ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of the system as its priority, and assigned a team of experienced programmers to work on the project, Comarch's Wisniewski emphasized.
