Civic Platform tapes scandal planned?

Mariusz Kaminski
Officials of Poland's currently ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) were aware of taped conversations of the then ruling party Civic Platform (PO) officials half a year before they were made public, daily Gazeta Wyborcza claimed, citing a person close to the former anti-sleaze police CBA head and the current special services coordinator Mariusz Kaminski.
Marek Falenta, who organized the wire-tapping scheme, contacted a PiS official to tell about the tapes, and the party leadership decided he would be taken over by CBA officers loyal to Kaminski. Those CBA officers, together with PiS affiliate Ernest Bejda and Falenta made a decision to publish the content of the tapes through opinion weekly Wprost.
