Less money for family support

The Polish government may cut spending on its family support program 500+ by as much as PLN 3 billion vs. 2018 to ca. PLN 21.2 million in 2019, according to an analysis prepared by daily Rzeczpospolita.
The reduction stems from the "excellent" labor market situation leaving fewer Poles meeting the eligibility criteria for the allowance, deputy Labor Minister Bartosz Marczuk explained.
