Labor market still needs changes
El¿bieta Rafalska
The Polish government will likely see "further improvement" on the labor market, with continued high demand for labor and wage growth, Labor Minister Elzbieta Rafalska said in a comment to unemployment data.
"The good sentiment [in the economy] should contribute to further improvement on the labor market, in particular maintaining high demand for labor and pace of wage growth," Rafalska said.
Poland's registered unemployment rate held flat month on month in July at 5.9%, stats office GUS said August 24. The LFS unemployment fell 3.6% in Q2 from 4.2% in Q1, GUS data also showed.
