Ukrainian workers head for Germany?
Poland's labor market could face even more challenges if Germany decides to tap Ukrainians to sooth its own labor shortages, temporary work agency Work service expert Andrzej Kubisiak warned.
Germany has 1.5 million vacancies to fill in and declared it would seek workers outside of the EU. Germany would be attractive for Ukrainians, as wages there are three times as high, Kubisiak pointed out. A certain outflow to Germany was already seen in the construction sector, the expert noted.
